What are the best colors for the walls of a tanning salon?

We are trying to stay away from the oranges... we have a competing store that has those colors for their decor. We are wanting a spa feel? Something young, relaxing. HELP

What are the best colors for the walls of a tanning salon?
They say taupe is very soothing.
Reply:How about tan?
Reply:pink gives a naked body a flattering glow? i know cos ive got it in my bathroom and im very pale - actually look better hehe
Reply:Light green %26amp; beige, try an oriental spa feel, with bamboo, stone, %26amp; relaxing chairs. Add a Japanese deer chaser fountain 2 complete the atmosphere, the sound of water is always relaxing.
Reply:Blues, greens aquas...tranquil and soothing shades with kind of a beachy feel....you could use wicker-not the old fashion yucky wicker-but something young and hip-or rattan for the furniture and shells for accessories....
Reply:I'd stick to a white. Know it sounds boring but you can liven it up with your tanning posters and so forth.

It is the best color to give folks an accurate view of themselves. (Eg: They will see how better they look after a few tans.)

It will also not distort their tans where they look more orange etc. And it will help them to put on the lotions evenly (especially important if they use the ones with bronzers so they don't streak.)
Reply:BLACK

according to the Rolling Stones
Reply:go for a baby/ocean blue.. it will be soothing, and help the customers to relax and imagine themselves at the beach
