Are you supposed to wear sunscreen when you go on a tanning bed?

yes, but not normal sunscreen. you need the kind that's made for tanning beds. most tanners sell it but it's really expensive. wal-mart also sells it but at a fraction of the costs. i dont' know if the quality is the same because i refuse to pay over $20 for a bottle of tanning lotion. but make SURE you wear lotion

Are you supposed to wear sunscreen when you go on a tanning bed?
No, you buy a tanning moisturizer so your skin won't dry out. You can find them at Walmart. They also have some with bronzer in them. A sunscreen will prevent you from tanning.
Reply:No, the whole point of tanning bed is to get sun damage. You should try to achieve maximum sun damage so you future husband would realize you look like a carbon-toasted bread by age of 25 and dump you for another woman.

Does anyone have those nasty brown spots on their face from tanning....how do you get rid of them?

laser!

Does anyone have those nasty brown spots on their face from tanning....how do you get rid of them?
Sorry, but that is the only way. Thanks for choosing my answer! Report It

Reply:Stop tanning? (when you're 40 your skin will be like leather - not sexy)
Reply:try exfoliating. It could be dead skin.
Reply:They're called freckles and I got them too. I dont think there's anything you can do to get rid of them, but to lessen your exposure to the sun, specially if you are not using a sun blocker.
Reply:see a doctor, some nasty spots might be a form of cancer, and uvr exposure is a risk factor for all but one form of skin cancer.
Reply:They are freckles and are very attractive! You could use a sunscreen or put milk on them at night.
Reply:You don't - You've permanently damaged your skin!!! The more you expose yourself the worse they'll get...and whilst you think you look great from tanning, the reality is if you've already got skin damage you probably look more like Pauline Fowler than a member of Girls Aloud!
Reply:that is sun damage and a sign that you shouldn't tan. stop tanning and use an over the counter microderm abraision kit. over time it will reveal new skin.

Where is a good site to learn rates and reviews on tanning lotions?

are you looking for a self tanner ? Go to the Dept Store and ask them for free samples, this way you will know from experience what works the best and you wont have to pay for it to find out.... If you ask they are obligated to give you the samples..... Hugs

I started itching about 4 hours after sitting in the tanning salon for 7 min , this being my first time?

maybe the rays of the lights are making you itch...did anything else happen??

Dont you think I need to be rushed to a tanning bed ASAP by ambulance?

gay. no doubt about it.

He could be getting ready for a tropical vacation.

Reply:you cant tell if a guy's sexual preference by wether or not he goes tanning
Reply:Either way, most men care how they look, not just gays.
Reply:if he's lying down in a tanning bed, he could be catagorized as bi or gay.but if he's in a standing position tanning bed, then he's straight.
Reply:i would think CORN HOLER but then again at 40 he maybe trying to make himself look young and attractive to females i know its strange but people do freaky stuff you don't understand
Reply:my father tanned well into his 40's

perhaps he's just concieted.
Reply:Could be either, why you're asking the consensus whether you're gay or straight is a bit confounding. Tanning beds haven't determined sexual orientation for anyone as of yet......
Reply:No. Pathetic, maybe.
Reply:sounds as if this guy is looking to look nice. he is probably a very nice person.
Reply:insecure and gay
Reply:He could very well be either.
Reply:I am not that old at least not yet, but I work with alot of men that go to the tanning bed and most of them have back problems they say that the heat helps them in there back. I also know married men that have manicures and pedicures done on a regular basis. These are straight men.
Reply:on da other side....
Reply:he may be straight and is going there to hit on you. I wouldn't try to read someones preference from something like tanning but if he is really white, maybe he wants to look better. usually the concern with looks have started to fade around that age but not completely I don't think. I think people are working from that little voice inside them that doesn't really have an age or hasn't aged to the years the body has. we have all met that person that seemed timeless and that person that seemed older than their body age. age is more attitude than numbers, maybe your old white guy sees himself a few years younger. which is alright until he sees himself a youngster again and starts hitting on youngsters.
Reply:What a stupid question is this. Are yu looking for a homo or a hetero. Why are you differentiating people.I prefer hunky hairychested and strong men regardless ov his tan.
Reply:LOL good one girl
Reply:no way to tell, only that person can tell if he's gay or not even if he is so effeminate.
Reply:Probably just means he has gross skin. Especially if he's been tanning for 40 years.

Actually this is pretty common with 40 year old gay guys. Maybe it could be common with straight businessmen also?

What is the best way to gt dead skin (after tanning/sunburned) off your back when its just you ?

When your by yourself and no one to help

What is the best way to gt dead skin (after tanning/sunburned) off your back when its just you ?
They make special loofa's on a pole for reaching your back that are great for exfoliating while in the shower.

If you need it now - take a wet washcloth and sling it over your back, grab it with your other hand by your side and rub your back gently back and forth with the cloth.

Be carefull if you burned yourself - you dont want to take off burned skin thats not ready to be peeled off. That can cause scarring.
Reply:get a body scrub! there are sugar based and sea salt based, the minty ones feel great! then find a brush with a long handle and apply! , rubbed, scrubbed ..... and you are done!

How many times a week is a healthy amount for tanning?

Like is it somewhat healthy for once a week? Twice a week?

THANKS.

How many times a week is a healthy amount for tanning?
Please don't make the same mistake that I did. I used to go to the tanning beds and tan outside all the time. Now my skin looks like crap and I have only myself to blame. I am only 26, but people guess my age as older. My peers have much nicer, softer, dewier skin than myself.

I wish I would have listened to others who told me not to go tanning.

I can understand the desire to be tan. Instead, just pay the extra money and get a spray tan or "mystic tan." You could even go buy some self-tanner product yourself and apply it yourself.

I seriously, really, really hope you do not make my mistake!! Believe me, you do not want to have yucky skin like me someday!!

Not to mention the skin cancer risks.
Reply:Never?
Reply:sorry but it is not healthy ever, period.
Reply:yeah, like the people above said, never. try sunless tanning lotions.

Reply:Never. You'll end up looking 40 when you are 25. Wrinkles will appear much quicker than normal. Stay your natural color...don't be orange.
Reply:none unless you want skin cancer by the time you're 30. try mistic tan.
Reply:Healthy? Well tanning isn't really healthy at all.

But I would think once every two or three weeks is plenty. Try lotions, some make you turn orange, but other actually work, just experiment until you find what you want.
Reply:it's not so much how much as it is what color your skin is. I mean if your a fair skin then com on. You know you can't tan really period.

If your olive, which it looks like you are from your avitar then I'd say u could get out and maybe play some game outside for a half hour, but I wouldn't just stay still and let the sun beat u down merselessly.

If your dark then I'd say u could probably just sit outside for a 20 minutes or so, but no more. U could still get bad effects from the UV rays. Remember, the sun isn't your friend no matter how tan u are. He's only there to give us light and warmth. That's about his only good qualities.

And I'm only talking weekly here.
Reply:Healthy tanning? Sorry but that is a bit of an oxymoron....there is no such thing as healthy tanning, so I can't recommend you do it at all.

Like Dakota, I'm only 26 yet my skin is starting to show the effects of tanning in my teens. People think I'm older and I'm having to fork out cash for chemical peels and laser treatments to get rid of the skin damage....and to top it all off my dermatologist says I have an 80% higher chance of getting skin cancer due to all the tanning, so I have to have my skin checked out every 6 months to ensure there are no abnormal changes to moles and freckles.
Reply:None. This can cause cancer. Try a spray tan or self tanner instead.

How many skin cancer deaths every year are associated with tanning beds??

I don't know the answer to that, but just a little tid bit of information for you, Doctors are now starting to recommend individuals tan in tanning beds (regulating the amount of time of course) as one of the best sources of Vitamin D!! Can you believe that? Proper eye protection should always be worn adn you should never over do it and get cooked!

ur more likely to get cancer if u go to a tanning bed.
Reply:Never. Seriously, girls who go to tanning beds look awful. That burnt orange is not healthy. Just be content with the skin you have, let the sun give you color naturally.
Reply:They kinda make you look orange.... but if you really wanted to go... probably around the age of 15 or so!! Great luck!

Reply:NEVER!!! Not unless you want to look like you are 50 when you are 30!! Use sunless tanner. Even if you think that tanning beds make you look better, its not worth the risk of getting a skin disease.

You only have 1 skin. Take care of it!!

I used to be a real big "sun worshiper", until I went on vacation to Germany. The women there LIVE in the sun (or tanning beds), and they look HORRIBLE by the time they hit 30. They all look like grandmas. And they look orange like a Cheese-Doodle.
Reply:i agree 100% with Buddy.

Just dont overdo it by going everyday for like 40 minutes. 30 minutes is equal to 6 hours in the sun.
Reply:i went tanning for the first time when i was like 13. I started going on a regular basis when i was about 14 almost 15. %26amp;%26amp; its alot more healthy to go in a tanning bed than to spend hours outside. No one like answerd your question. you didnt ask how bad tanning was for you. You asked when you should start going tanning. I think you should start at like 15. Just like dont over do the tanning because getting a gradual tan looks a million times better than going tanning 7 days a week and getting a tan very quickly. I know from experince.
Reply:It really depends on where you live and whats 'socialy-acceptable' there. For example: In California, girls start going in tanning beds @ like age 10. (Really Young!!) But in a place like New Jersery average is probaby like 20.

Stay away from tanning beds if you want to stay looking young and avoid skin cancer.

I can't go to the dermatologist, but would like to get rid of these spots.

I get white spots that spread when I'm out tanning in the sun, is there some kind of home remedy I can do to m
This might be pityriasis versicolor, which is a common yeast infection of the skin. The spots are most noticable in the middle of the chest and on the back, and often have a pinkish itchy edge. Affected areas don't tan as well as elsewhere in the body, leading to white spots.

Using an antifungal cream for a week or two will usually clear the infection, but the white spots take longer to blend back in with the rest of your skin.

You can buy self tanner remover but I don't know a good one off hand. Go to a beauty supply store like Sally's or to a tanning salon they might sell products for removing a fake tan. Exfoliate like crazy and it should be gone in a few days or at least fade.

What do I have to do to start my own tanning salon/boutiqe business?

Get a healthy tan

What do I have to do to start my own tanning salon/boutiqe business?
Something

My skin tone is very fair, can I use a tanning bed and how long will it take to get some color?

I have fair skin and can tan. If you have never tanned before you need to tan a few minutes at first and gradually build up how long you stay in the bed. Purchase high quality tanning lotion from the people at the tanning salon that helps greatly.

I would test your skin first for about 5 minutes at a time and see how you do.

Good Luck!

My skin tone is very fair, can I use a tanning bed and how long will it take to get some color?
If you artificially tan, you will freckle and tan too in a few weeks. You may burn as well, so follow their instructions as far as time limits. It may seem ridiculously short, but do it anyway. The lotion is very expensive that they want to sell you, but some of them have a self tanner in it that will make you seem darker, faster. These work very well and can conceal all the freckling that you will get. I buy my lotion from ebay, it's way cheaper.
Reply:Start with a 5-6 minute maximum and then build up gradually. Also be sure to keep your skin very moisturized while use a tanning bed or you will itch like crazy. Also, skip at least one day in between sessions or you will over do it. You will feel anxious to see results, but you have to be patient or you will damage your skin and get no result.
Reply:Tips for Sunless TanningSunless tanning is probably the safest alternative to getting some color without the risk of exposing yourself to the sun's harmful rays. The great thing about sunless tanners is that you can apply the product to a specific area, or all over the body, including the face. The whole process takes about two hours, not including drying time, and is best done in the evening before you go to bed. Also, make sure you are in a cool and well-ventilated area to minimize perspiration, which will cause streaking.

First, make sure to exfoliate well, for an even base application. If you plan to tan your legs, don't shave that day to prevent irritation. After showering, apply lotion and allow that to absorb into the skin for about 20 minutes.

Next, you are ready for the sunless tanner: For the face, pull your hair back in a pony-tail or headband. Apply a light, even layer to the face and neck, since this area tends to absorb product more than other areas of the body. Drying time depends on the product, but don't touch the face for 15 minutes after application.

If you are looking to tan all over; depending what areas you want to tan, you can wear shorts and a tank or t-shirt or a bathing suit. For body application, use gloves or make sure to wash your hands every five minutes to prevent orange palms. Keep a manicure or fingernail brush available to scrub the product off nails and in between fingers. If you are applying the tanner to your back, you may need some help. Spread in a circular motion and make sure you get all the trouble spots like the back of your legs.

On feet and hands, just apply to the tops, not in between fingers and toes or the sides. Avoid water or bathing for another three hours.
Reply:Why be fake like everyone else? Embrace your natural beauty! Highlight your skin with shimmering body lotions, you will look more radiant but not artificial. Plus, your skin will look a lot more healthy in a few years, not like a leather purse.

Tell me the terrible truth about waxing and shaving, and tanning?

Waxing - hurts like a b****

shaving - sometimes leaves bumps..and you gotta do it everyday...also you will then grow in black hair

tanning - skin cancer %26amp; wrinkles!!

Tell me the terrible truth about waxing and shaving, and tanning?
Waxing: Can be paniful, but lasts up to 6 weeks.

Shaving: You can get ravor burn and hair grows back quickly

Tanning: If you do it wrong you can look like a gaint tangerine
Reply:Tanning gives you skin cancer and makes you look like an old leather birkenstock if you do it enough. Waxing and shaving are pointless, really, and a major inconvenience. Not fun. Do you legs if you wanna wear nylons, but I can't see the point in getting rid of hair anywhere else. Cept I really like to pluck my brows.
Reply:waxing doesnt always get every litle hair

shaving in the wrong direction can cause irritation and red bumps

tanning in a bed can cause cancer, but spray on is alright as long as you have it professionally done so you don't come out streaky or orange
Reply:Tanning, by the sun or in a salon is likely to cause skin cancer. You may not want to hear it but its true, the only safe tan is sunless.

When it comes to shaving, I think the big one is cutting yourself. Unless we are talking bikini, in which case I highly unrecommend it, serious itching and ingrowns.

Waxing, I believe is safe, it just hurts, trim the hair (bikini) and it hurts less. Exfoliate to prevent ingrowns.
Reply:Okay, number one.. Waxing.. It is a very painful experience your first couple of times, but eventually you hair follicles are less sensitive, and contrary to popular belief, it only lasts about 2-3 weeks. Waxing is actually good for your skin as well because it removes dead skin cells..

Shaving.. Shaving is a great way to temporarily remove hair, but your hair follicles can get easily infected causing a series of pimples. Also you can get very bad razor burn.. One good thing about shaving, it does not actually make you hair grow back in thicker, that is just a myth, the reason people think it grows back in thicker is because it stand out starit when it grows back in and therefore the stubble feels thicker.. Be prepared to shave everyday, if not twice a day to keep the stubble away. Also try usuing conditioner instead of shaving cream as it make the hair more supple and softer..

Tanning.. Tanning in a bed is similar to cooking your internal organs, I know mutiple people who have done paegents and have gotten ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancers and have had to get historectomies, and these girls were just 21-24.. What I would recommend would be to go to a salon that offers airbrush tanning, where they spray a golden brown "fake bake" on you evenly, you can see the results immeadiatly and there is no streaking or smudging.. Also it saves your skin, tanning with UV rays breaks down your collagen layers which binds skin layers together, and when those are depleted, you get wrinkles.

Good luck!
Reply:WE know of two girls that died in CALF. from TANNING beds.
Reply:The Seiko Cleancut Shaver doesn't cause any shaving problems if you use baby powder while you shave and Tend Skin lotion after you shave. That is the terrible truth about shaving.

Im breast feeding and I want to go to the tanning bed, will my milk supply stay?..& what lotion shall i use??

I asked my obstetrician about that and he told me as long as I covered my nipples and didn't put lotion on them it would be fine. To be safe, I wouldn't put any type of tanning lotion on. the bronzers or tingles can't be good on an infants skin. I actually found cocoa butter to be a really good lotion for tanning while I was nursing. I suggest Lansinoh for your nipples because the tanning bed can dry your skin out, which makes for very painful nursing.

Im breast feeding and I want to go to the tanning bed, will my milk supply stay?..%26amp; what lotion shall i use??
ur not supposed to use a tanning bed when u are pregnant.
Reply:if you like healthy skin, stay away from direct sunlight and tanning salons
Reply:you'll probably start producing chocolate milk!
Reply:u have to ask ur doctor about it.
Reply:It is perfectly safe! Use whatever lotion you like, however either try to avoid putting it on the breasts or be sure to shower well after tanning to avoid passing the lotion onto your child. To avoid 'nipple chapping' from the UV exposure you can either coat your nipples with Lansinoh before tanning and/or get little nipple guards from your tanning salon (most places have these if you ask). However if they don't have the nipple guards (this may sound funny, but trust me, it works) you can always get a pair of the eye guards and cut them so they fit over your nipples.

Happy tanning!

Has anyone ever got itchy whelps on your stomach after tanning?

Yes. Unfortunately it's happened to more than the stomach on me, it's anywhere your skin is pressed against the solar bed and sweating. But this can happen even without direct contact(ie) stand-up solar rooms. Fair complexion individuals are more prone to have this happen.

Limit your time in the bed, make sure the bed is wiped down with a damp cloth(even if it's sanitized...it could be a chemical reaction with it), change your tanning lotion, and don't shower 1/2 hr. after tanning. Much like the regular sun, it can seep into your skin and appear hours later. You may, even after all this, need to stop the tanning bed no matter how much you want to do it. Your body will actually thank you now...and years down the road.

Has anyone ever got itchy whelps on your stomach after tanning?
Yes - its called solar urticaria, which is a allergic reaction to sunlight.
Reply:Only if someone blows a load on my stomach before I go tanning. It must be the proteins reacting with the ultra-violet lights.
Reply:Sounds like you got burnt, kinnda the same thing as sun posioning, stay out of the tanning beds until it is healed, you'll just make it worse.

Reply:DO you want your palms to be as orange as your thighs?
Reply:Sunless "tanning" lotion functions by dying your skin. Because your hands will get maximum exposure while applying it your body, they will have concentrated "success."

They will be orange.
Reply:Nah, forget the gloves, orange palms are "in" this winter.
Reply:It does actually, if you dont you'll end up with orange palms.
Reply:Your hands could turn dark orange/brown if not scrubbed after applying. if your hands are dry the lotion may not wash off.

I need a 20 thousand dollar GOVERNMENT loan for a tanning salon i'm buying soon. Where do i get it?

I'm 18 so I haven't established credit.... Where can I for sure get a loan

I need a 20 thousand dollar GOVERNMENT loan for a tanning salon i'm buying soon. Where do i get it?
SBA will guarantee a loan for a small business but you must submit a good business plan and have a lot of your own money at risk. As far as I know other than the blind vendor program there aren't any other business loans from the federal government.

Can you imagine the outcry if the government was giving out loans to people to compete with the businesses others have invested life savings into?
Reply:Not going to happen - sorry. From the government or anywhere else unless the bank of mom and dad is willing to finance you. You don't get to borrow $20k, with no security for the loan (like a car would be when you finance it), especially with no credit established.

The tanning salon would NOT be considered collateral for such a loan - a very large percentage of new businesses do not succeed, so the business, since it's not established yet, doesn't give any reason for a lender to think you 'll be able to pay back the loan.
Reply:Good day

I'm half asian and half european but very fair skinned. What frequency should I go and what lotion should I use/do you recommend?

What should I use when I start going to the tanning salon so I don't turn orange?
baby lotion
Reply:Rub lemon juice all over your body and that should keep you from tanning too much.

Plus, you'll be pretty tastey!

Do you think it is safe to go to the tanning bed while being pregnant?

First of all......you will not cook your baby. If that was the case people that live in very hot climates would not be able to have babies. But on to your question, most doctors recommend that you do not tan, not for fear of hurting your baby, but due to the fact that while pregnant, your skin is more sensitive, therefore you can burn easier or end up with a painful rash. Also, it is rather uncomfortable with a big ol' belly. Hope this helps.

Do you think it is safe to go to the tanning bed while being pregnant?
no
Reply:a big no no
Reply:No way!!!!
Reply:No its not safe. If you want proof. Go to a tanning salon with a hot dog weenie. Put it in the bed for 10 minutes and cut it open. Basically it cooks your insides. Not recommended. Talk to your doc.
Reply:i would say its ok besides a tan hides stretch marks
Reply:NO! DO U WANT BURN UR BABY?
Reply:No, it can get your internal temp up and fry the baby....Its just not worth it.
Reply:No, neither tanning beds or sun are safe. In many books youll find it says it raises up your babies heart beat
Reply:being pregnant the ansewer is no. the heat can mess with you and might have a direct effect on the baby. ask your dr.
Reply:Absolutely not... The OBGYN explained it like this.... It slowly cooks the fetus. It would almost the equivalent to putting your baby in the microwave! Don't do it!
Reply:it burns ur baby hun x it means killing ur innocent baby!. a big biggest NO!
Reply:No, that would be a bad idea. Just talk to your doctor before you go tanning.
Reply:Please just use a sunless tanner.

I just used a great one last night it is called Build A Tan by Neutrogena.
Reply:No No No!!! I knew someone once who did just that and the baby was born without eyes and mentally disabled.
Reply:I can't believe that you just asked this question. Do you not have any common sense? No you don't go tanning while your pregnant your gonna hurt that baby!! You shouldnt even be asking questions like that, I don't want to imagine what kind of mom your gonna be.
Reply:So obviously no, but you can still use self tanner safely. I am 7 months pregnant and I hate it, I am so so white but the baby cant regulate its own body tempeture till later in pregnancy and devn then its like sitting in a hottub that keeps getting hotter and hotter for the baby and even if it cancontrol bod temp it wont matter if the watter is so hot. Also your skin gets more sensitive when your pregnant so you would probably burn really really fats if went to the tanning booth when you were pregnant. So just stick to the spray tan and lotion tans, sucks I know but its the only way youll be tan and prego all at the same time. Either that or be patient and lay out for a few minutes a day. and wait for your tan to develop
Reply:No. For two reasons. One, the heat and two, the ultraviolet radiation.

First, the heat. Women who are pregnant are to avoid any excessive overheating as this is associated with miscarriages. This includes saunas, hot tubs, very hot baths, very high fevers, and tanning beds.

Secondly, the ultraviolet radiation. Medical research has shown a connection between neural tube defects and ultraviolet radiation. The evidence shows that the radiation breaks down folate and puts preconceptional and early pregnant women at higher risk for giving birth to a baby with spinal bifida or other types of neural tube defects. One article, published in 1999 by Jablonski in Medical Hypothesis, concluded that "intense or prolonged periconceptual exposure of women to UV light for recreational or therapeutic reasons should be avoided."

You take Iron in PreNatal Vitamins to help process this Folate to avoid these birth defects. It does not make sense to, by choice, subject yourself to an outside force which hinders this processing and again increases your birth defect risks.
Reply:For the same reason you should avoid 'hot' things like saunas and super hot baths, a tanning bed is a No No. You need to avoid making your temperature go to high.
Reply:Although both doctors are in agreement that they UVA and UVB rays emitted by the bulbs in tanning beds can be as dangerous as the rays of the sun to human skin tissues, those rays do not penetrate far enough into the body to harm a fetus. For the people who said it would harm the fetus. Maybe you should do some research before saying something so silly. If it could harm the fetus by frying it then it would fry your organs duh! But it cant harm your insides. It does raise your body temp which is dangrous in the first trimester when the spine is being formed. According to two doctors, Robert L. Brent M.D., Ph.D. and Gary Zeman, Sc.D, Ch.P, (who conducted a study at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory about pregnancy and tanning beds), mothers-to-be have no reason to be concerned about getting an indoor tan.The overheating of the mother's body (also called hyperthermia) is associated with some spinal malformations. It should also be noted that typically hypothermia develops after the mother's body must be exposed to temperatures of 102 Fahrenheit or more for several hoursFortunately, government regulatory standards in Canada and the United States typically limit the maximum temperature for commercial tanning devices to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, there does not seem to be any reported incidents of hypothermia related to pregnancy and tanning beds.I hope this helps and whoever said you were a terrible person for asking this qeustion is uneducated and maybe should do some research before making statements like that. It is bad for your skin which you should already know!

What is the best way to get rid of my 2 yr contract with ATB tanning for unlimited spray tanning?

The only way to get out of a contract with ATB tanning is if you move a certain amount of miles away from the nearest salon (which there is a fee for, and you must show different types of proof) or find someone who is willing to take over your membership ($25 fee). A lot of people try to get rid of their memberships via Craigslist. After being pressured into signing a 2yr contract, I am trying to do the same.

What is the best way to get rid of my 2 yr contract with ATB tanning for unlimited spray tanning?
Tell them you got a nasty allergic reaction to the product and want your money back.
Reply:Don't end it! Let your friends have a turn and share it with whoever may want a free spray tan!

Or if you really don't wanna have another spray tan in your life then break the machine while no-ones looking.
Reply:This is what I was told that you can not get rid of the 2 year contract. Once you have signed that contract you can not get rid of it. Once your contract is over then you can go to the unlimited spray tanning. But you can still find out how much is left over for the contract. You will have put down what ever is left over for the contract, that is if you really would like to get out of it.

So good luck,

Why am I getting brown spots on my face after tanning?

because of melatonin. Is a natural paint in our body that protect the skin from the sun...if you used a tanning lotion in a wrong way or if you stay for a long in the sun your skin will react and you will look like that...next time use properly the sun tan lotion and follow the direction of the bottle...never spend to many time under the sun...and don't worry it will fade with the time and the proper care...

Why am I getting brown spots on my face after tanning?
MAYBE YOU WERE TANNING TO LONG
Reply:Tanning brings out your freckles. When you get older the start to show up more
Reply:maybe it's your skin. go to the dermatologist. and most important: use sunscreen!!!
Reply:I know this is not a popular answer, but tanning booths can permanatley damage your skin! You should get looked at, after all it would be awful to have those brown spots get darker and stay forever!
Reply:You may also get these patches if your skin is dry in some areas, its sometimes better to exfoliate before any kind of tanning to rub away any dry spots.

How do you get rid of orange palms from a tanning thing?
Lemon juice and a loofa.....or...rubbing alcohol if you have any of that
Reply:Just keep washing your hands.
Reply:As soon as your done using the self tanner wash your hands with hot water and soap but be carefu not to get water on your arms because it will spot your self tanner and make it look streaky. Plus if it's spray on why are you getting it on your hands? Hope I helped.

there are plenty of vain straight men who go tanning...and some guys like shaving.

Reply:They could be metrosexual meaning:

Men with taste %26amp; style who know about fashion, art, and culture etc...but i'm not sure about the touching other men part.
Reply:None of it means you're gay.

You're gay if you are sexually attracted to other men.

Maybe these little mannerisms are simply the feminine side of you. It's more prominent on some people than the others.

If you find it "hot" to touch other men, that is a gay characteristic.

If you don't, maybe you are just a little too touchy-feely.

Remember, its also possible to be bi.

Depending on the tanning salon, I think one of those beachy, boho flowy skirts that are so in right now could work, with layered tank tops and some chunky jewelry. That way you're not in jeans (which could be too informal) but still kind of casual and fun. Hope you get the job!

quit using the tanning bed goof, you want to look like Farrah Fawcett some day???? use a self tanning lotion or go natural. skin cancer is far worse than being pale.
Reply:if you absolutely have to tan, then you should try Aveeno. usually my hands get cracked in the winter from being in the water at work, but once i started using this lotion they didn't.

Also, consider the spray tan instead, it will be less damaging to your skin in the long run

Anyone out there tell me where I can get genuine "tanning" pills that work?

Been on the net and looking for actual people who have used the products that don't make you orange!

Anyone out there tell me where I can get genuine "tanning" pills that work?
ya you can get them in boots cant remember the name of them at this momnet but their down by the vitamins!and they do work they help change the pigment in your skin for natural looking tan
Reply:eww...why would you want to put something like that in your body????!!!!!
Reply:If God had meant for you to be a little darker, he'd have made you that way. Just be happy with your skin colour - you'll either clutter up your liver with pills, or get skin cancer on a sunbed. David Dickinson (Antiques Roadshow) managed to get orange without even trying!!! (Or was he Tango'ed).
Reply:Oenobiol make the ones i've been using for years

http://www.oenobiol.com/

they're not at all dangerous for you- natural products that help the skin to tan and keep it longer- full of nutrients and vitamins.
Reply:ask at a chemist they will probably have some
Reply:Seriously, I wouldn't use them! How about trying a tanning lotion - a gentle one - like Johnsons Holiday skin. That works well and takes only a couple of weeks to get a glow without leaving streaks.

My brother was watching me when I was laying out tanning, it makes me want to cover up. Why is that?

Well that depends on how old your brother is. If he is young then maybe he is just curious if he's old enough to know what's going on then I would be creeping out. And you have every right to cover up.

My brother was watching me when I was laying out tanning, it makes me want to cover up. Why is that?
Because you are embarrassed by your body.
Reply:I've felt the same way before with my cousin actually! I think it feels awkward, because he's your brother for God's sake and that it's just plain weird to have your brother checking you out!
Reply:why is it that he was watching you or that you wanted to cover up? if someone were watching me in a way that was uncomfortable, i'd cover up too. the fact that he was watching you is disturbing. are you sure that's what he was doing? could he have been waiting for the right moment to hit you with some cold water maybe? brothers are like that sometimes.
Reply:because you shouldn't wear a bikini. it's not modest. plus you look beautiful and attractive.
Reply:because its weird to have family check you out!
Reply:modesty and morality. a sense of self awareness and a developing sense of right and wrong .
Reply:you need to cover up. he shouldnt be watching you .
Reply:that's creepy....maybe tell your parents. next time he does it yell at him and say do you got a staring problem?!
Reply:because probably you felt uncomfartable for your brother seeing you. Well hope this answers your question, well bye.
Reply:Your self conscious about your body.
Reply:because brothers don't stare at their sister's body, that's why.

Does anyone know if it's ok to use a tanning salon when pregnant?

don't!!!!!! there are too many harmful uva/uvb rays and that is not only unhealthy for you, but also the fetus!

Does anyone know if it's ok to use a tanning salon when pregnant?
You cant tan when your pregnant you can ask the tanning salon people and they will tell you it causes birthdefects...
Reply:defintaly NOT ok!
Reply:It's not a good idea. If you just have to tan, use the self-tanning lotions, that's what I did when I was pregnant.
Reply:no itis not u can stick you rlegs in that is it...kindof like a gaint microwave... it a big no no
Reply:its advised u dont due 2 the chemicals that they use
Reply:NO!!!! It's not. Sorry tanning is out. self tans that come in a bottle are not recomended either. I know it sucks, i was disappointed too when I was preggo.
Reply:No way, the tan thins your skin and the baby will kick right through your belly. Hehehe. Just kidding!! , I don't know.
Reply:well im black so i dont go to these things but i dont think that is safe because of the radiation that goes on so i wouldnt but ask your dr.
Reply:I consulted my doctor about this when I was pregnant. He said that it was fine and would not harm the baby. The only catch is: You are not supposed to lie on your back when you are in the later stages of pregnancy (past 5 months or so) therefor, my doc recommended that I use a stand up tanning bed or go for very short intervals in a lie down bed. ALSO: Warning....Tanning tightens the skin and in my case the tanning made my stretch marks much darker and more noticeable because the tanning tightens the skin and makes it more difficult to stretch=therefor causing more stretch marks!

WEB MD ALSO SAYS IT IS OK, but they do not recommend using self tanners because of the chemicals....

IT DOES NOT CAUSE BIRTH DEFECTS PEOPLE%26lt; DO SOME RESEARCH
Reply:Tanning Beds are Big No-no's while pregnant. Lay out in the sun, or use a lotion.
Reply:Defiantly not. Tanning contains harmful UV rays plus the heat is harmful to the fetus.Think about it when your pregnant your doctors advises you not to get in to a hot bath or hot tub. Do you think a tanning bed is any cooler? The weather is getting nice go to a beach or a friends pool and use a low spf sunscreen. I have heard that spray on tans are ok but I am not 100% sure. Ask your doc on those.
Reply:Yeah, don't. I wouldn't use lotions either with all the chemicals in them. It's just a few months, take care of your baby.
Reply:no , unless you want to cook your baby.

Why would you want to use a tanning bed anyway??

You should be getting sun through shaded area for about 30 minutes a day and no more while you are pregnant. Even if you're not, It's a very bad thing for your body. Don't use a tanning bed , ever, please!!!!
Reply:I was told no tanning beds due to the fact that the baby is not able to regulate it's own body temp. which means it depends on you to not get too hot for extended periods of time. If the baby gets too hot for too long and can increase the chances of birth defects and being born mentally challenged. That also goes for tanning outside or being too hot for too long, just watch you body temp, cause your baby is depending on you. Oh and on that fact, if you start to run a fever while pregnant make sure you get a hold of your Dr. (FYI)
Reply:No, it's not safe! Definitely don't do it. You will be able to do all the tanning you want after your baby is born, so be patient. :)
Reply:As an OB nurse for 10 years I would highly recommend against using the tanning bed while pregnant. Not only can it dehydrate you due to the heat (dehydration can cause uterine irritability/contractions), but UV rays are a known cancer causing agent. You may not find any research that can unequivocally prove tanning beds are harmful, but that is probably because it would be unethical to perform such a study. It is really unknown what these tanning bed UV rays can do to a person, especially a fetus, long term. They do emit radiation, although it is a small amount. Pregnant women have to be careful when getting xray's during pregnancy because the exposure to radiation can put their baby at risk for leukemia later on. I know it is hard on a woman to gain weight and have her appearance affected during pregnancy, but you really need to consider the unknown consequences here and protect your baby.

P.S.- a little sunshine right now may be a better alternative
Reply:They say it's not ok but you can tan outside
Reply:umm... i would say no.

Why doesn't the inside of our hands or the bottom of our feet never tan even while going to a tanning salon?

Because melanin, the pigment that causes tans and other skin shades such as the cocoa to black skin color found in those of African descent, is not present in the skin of your hands and feet. It is however, present in other areas like the whites of your eyes, for example (in small amounts). White birthmarks are caused by the absence of melanin in the area of the birthmark (I have one of these on the back of my leg that stays white no matter how much sun I get) just as dark brown birthmarks on a Caucasian person are caused by an excess of melanin in that area. The skin disease Vitiligo (made famous by Michael Jackson) is caused by a complete lack of melanin or pigment from the affected areas which appear white and do not ever tan. Hope that answers your question adequately.

Why doesn't the inside of our hands or the bottom of our feet never tan even while going to a tanning salon?
because we have no pigment there
Reply:the skin is alot thicker and there is no pigment.

It is not ok for anyone to tan. Everyone should wear spf 30 even indoors (flourescent lights put off light rays!) and anyone can get a sun burn or skin cancer. You should look at your skin under a black light or ultraviolet light, you can see all the skin damage...it's scary!
Reply:i don't see why not. all though generally speaking short amounts out in the natural sun will do the trick. unless your purpose is to get an even all over darker complexion of course. i advise, if that is what you are going for when you do go outdoors whether it's for short amount of time or not to wear sunblock (at least 30spf), other wise your exposed areas will become darker and defeat the purpose. fortunately for you it won't take as many visits to achieve a darker tan and you probably can skip the tanning lotion as well so it will be fairly inexpensive for you. if you do choose to use a lotion i would avoid ones that have bronzers due to the fact the bronzers are made for Caucasian skin tones not african american or even asian skin tones. which would cause your skin tone will look very unnatural.
Reply:While skin cancer trends tend to run higher in the African-American community, as long as sunblock is worn (30+ spf for extended activity), brief periods of tanning should be acceptable. Keep in mind that generally African-American skin needs more moisture, so be sure to keep hydrated (both body and skin). Also, there are a number of lotions available that do gradually tan skin - but not as instantly noticeable as sun-tanning. Olay and Aveeno have really good products to consider as well.
Reply:I don't think anyone should go tanning, its bad for your skin. As for light skinned blacks, I say no, just going to the beach or being out in the sun should do the trick. And always use sunblock.
Reply:Why would you want to tan?

What are the best colors for the walls of a tanning salon?

We are trying to stay away from the oranges... we have a competing store that has those colors for their decor. We are wanting a spa feel? Something young, relaxing. HELP

What are the best colors for the walls of a tanning salon?
They say taupe is very soothing.

Reply:Light green %26amp; beige, try an oriental spa feel, with bamboo, stone, %26amp; relaxing chairs. Add a Japanese deer chaser fountain 2 complete the atmosphere, the sound of water is always relaxing.
Reply:Blues, greens aquas...tranquil and soothing shades with kind of a beachy feel....you could use wicker-not the old fashion yucky wicker-but something young and hip-or rattan for the furniture and shells for accessories....
Reply:I'd stick to a white. Know it sounds boring but you can liven it up with your tanning posters and so forth.

It is the best color to give folks an accurate view of themselves. (Eg: They will see how better they look after a few tans.)

It will also not distort their tans where they look more orange etc. And it will help them to put on the lotions evenly (especially important if they use the ones with bronzers so they don't streak.)

Is is possible to LIGHTEN your skin as opposed to tanning it?

I have spent one too many days out in the sun and now I want my baby porcelain complexion back! Is it possible? Are those lotions and creams at those Asian drug stores real?

Is is possible to LIGHTEN your skin as opposed to tanning it?
i dont believe there is a way because the color of the skin has to do with the amount of meloncytes that your skin produces. It is not just a color on the outside. Possibly try using a good exfoliator and use a ton of sunblock when you have to be in the sun

good luck

You have to look and see if it's a 110v or a 220v. 110v will plug in a normal house receptical. 220v will not.

Why do white people spend so much time in the tanning booth?

But can't stand a black or mexican person!

Why do white people spend so much time in the tanning booth?
because we got what they don't. Natural beauty.
Reply:I hate people who look like pumpkins and that's what white people look like when they come out .
Reply:because they can
Reply:Yes, that is weird isn't it. I love people of color and think darker skin is more attractive than white skin. I have white skin.
Reply:im white and i dont use tanning booths, u dick sucker
Reply:I dont know, maybe because people dont really look that good when they are really light and would like a little color on their bodies. I don't want to be black, or brown or colored like a carrot, I want to be lightly bronzed color. And not everybody lives in a place like California or Florida where you get alot of natural sunlight that's hot enough to put color in your skin.

By the way,why do blacks chemically straighten their hair when they dont want to look like a honkey
Reply:I actually am sort of with you on this one. I don't know. I don't tan, and don't want to. I worked outside for 8 years, and have no wish to be tanned anymore - skin cancer is not pretty.

The only people I can't stand are the ones who behave like idiots; race is not a factor in that. People are stupid regardless of race.

But maybe it's because everyone else works so hard at trying to make white people feel guilty for being white.
Reply:I agree with dan07 all the way

your questions about white people were funny at first but now theyre getting old and boring

get a new hobby you reverse racist or maybe even a life

and comb out your naps lol

so just to clarify: I dont go to tanning salons I hate tans I think my pale skin is way prettier than any tan

and about the white people that do get tans not all of them hate mexicans or blacks what makes u assume that?

and the ones that do go to tanning salons and happen to hate blacks and mexicans well then that's their perogative but theyre idiots esp. for hating mexicans bc most mexicans have tan skin the skin tone theyre trying to get
Reply:Because they don't want to be white either. And they just want the color of dark skinned people, not the culture.

If you ask me, latino and arabic people have the most beautiful skin tones, like caramel....yummy

Im doing a report in one of my classes about tanning. I lay, and i dont think its bad! whys it bad??

Because it's harmful for your skin. There are UV rays in tanning beds, just like the sun, and can cause cancer. It can also cause premature aging of the skin.

Im doing a report in one of my classes about tanning. I lay, and i dont think its bad! whys it bad??
because the UV rays are bad for your skin. they can give you skin cancer. if you're careful and don't go too often you should be all right. some girls go everyday and think they start to get pale if they haven't been for a week. once in a while shouldn't do too much damage.
Reply:It makes you look wrinkly %26amp; old.
Reply:The sun gives off ultraviolet rays (UV). When these rays hit your skin cells they can mutate the DNA that they come in contact with; this mutation commonly causes skin cancer. The more you expose your skin cells to mutation; the higher chance of skin cancer you have. Tanning beds are worse than laying outside because the UV rays are closer to the body and more concentrated (which incidentally is why you don't have to tan as long in a bed as outside.) Sunscreen blocks these UVA and UVB rays.

How do i get really bad sun burn from the tanning bed to go away fast by tomorrow?

easy ideas that i could do at home

How do i get really bad sun burn from the tanning bed to go away fast by tomorrow?
mustard(not a lot cuz it makes your skin very yellow), tomatoes, a cool shower, lotion........just a few ideas
Reply:.
Reply:You can't. Stop sun bed tanning, you'll get cancer, and you look orange. Gross.
Reply:Soak in cool water or wrap yourself with a damp but cold towel. Do the same for your face with a washcloth and use a yellow based foundation the next day.
Reply:You don't.

You can take some tylenol and put some aloe lotion on to take the "burn" feeling away a bit, but you have a burn. That's all there is to it. There's no magic cure.
Reply:You need some aftersun cream. Don't use anything oily, it'll make it worse. And just remember that it only takes one episode of sunburn to give you skin cancer. Don't use the sunbed, it's not worth it.
Reply:You can't! A sunburn is a sunburn is a sunburn, and a tanning bed burn can be WORSE because of the strength, intensity and time exposure you had to the UV rays. TANNING BOOTHS and BEDS are NOT SAFE, no matter what assurances you are given. UV is UV and it's dangerous to your skin.
Reply:Close yourself in a freezer for 45 minutes or untill desired whiteness is achieved.
Reply:aloe vera...also use some lotion..they make tanning lotion specifically to put on after u tan its an all day moisturizer.....it works well
Reply:u need alot of milk, just sit in it for like 4 hours, it will feel better. it worked for me. lol
Reply:It more than likely will not go away by tomorrow. It needs time to heal and its not going to heal any faster just beacuse you want it to.

Get some aloe vera. You can find it in most stores. It will cool and soothe the sunburn and will help draw out some of the heat, which will promote healing. I hate to tell you, it wont happen by tomorrow, but it will help.
Reply:build a time machine and stay outta the salon.

nothin you can do.

Your dermal layer is burnt.

unless you can find a complete dermal transplant..

your gonna have to wait it out like the rest of us.
Reply:u cant get it out in one day...but lime, tomatoe, and alcohol help..good luck!
Reply:Your skin will heal the same no matter what you do.
Reply:Hi, usually if you are red from sun burn you have to take a cool shower and go as cold as possible which will sooth the redness. but don't do it too quickly as you could go into shock. or the other way of doing it is if its just your face maybe try a face cloth wrapped in ice cubes. the cold should slowly get rid of the red it may take a while. i got sun burnt on holiday very badly and was told to take a cool/cold bath which i did for about an hour and all the redness went. good luck. ( i don't want to nag but what about a spray tan next time as sun beds aren't good really. have fun tomorrow.

How much do they charge you for a minute in tanning salons?

How much time do I have to stay at the first time? How many times do I have to go in a week/month? And how much does it cost?

How much do they charge you for a minute in tanning salons?
Salons have different packages you can buy like 5 tans for $20 or you can pay $25 a month and have unlimited tanning.

They don't charge by the minute, but by the session. It also depends on your skin tone the time you go in. If you are pale I would suggest not going over 10 minutes. You need to do that in order to develop your base tan.

Be sure to buy lotion because it helps you tan faster and blocks some of the UV rays that may burn you.
Reply:I haven't been to a place where they charge by the min, usually I get consulted first by the staff and go in sessions, and keep coming to get the desired tan.
Reply:I don't know the answer to any of your questions, but I can tell you this though, they use microwaves, which cooks you from the inside. It also kills the nerves in the top layers of your skin. It gives you skin tough as leather with not feelings, not to say the least of the cancer cells it is feeding. In other words it gives you cancer of the skin.

I hope I answered your questions.

Does your skin ever get itchy from being in a tanning bed..if so//why?

because mine does too! ah! it's driving me crazyy..and if it happens to you//do you know how to solve itt?

Does your skin ever get itchy from being in a tanning bed..if so//why?
If you are itchy after a tanning session it from one of three reasons.

1) The major cause of itchiness after tanning in a tanning bed is that you have burned. With a tanning bed burn you are more likely to feel itchy than pain. Try less time in the bed.

2) Tanning beds do cause your skin to dry out. Use an after tan lotion that is designed for tanning beds. Your salon should carry a product or can special order it for you.

3) You could allergic to the disinfectant they are using to clean their beds. Try another salon.. . maybe they use another product that you will not be allergic to.
Reply:The tanning bed dries out your skin. Try putting lotion on both before and after a session.
Reply:Heat draws moisture out of the skin. Even using a moisturizer, some of the condensed moisture (like sweat) that is formed on your skin is full of salts and other elements that dry your skin out. Especially when depleted of all water in that substance.

Use a good moisturizing lotion with a high SPF.

Ever had a burger or fries that sat under a heat lamp too long? Remember how dry and chewy it was? That is what is happening to you in a tanning booth. You're crisping your skin. And sucking all the moisture out of it.
Reply:The heat makes the skin dry! Try the lotions with the moisturizers built in. Also try to lotion before, after and all the time. I do and it works!
Reply:your skin is getting fried, try taking a shower with a scrub brush to get the dead skin off, then put on some soothing lotion or itching cream. something lke a cream or something. hope you feel better
Reply:yes it dries up your skin and also you tend to sweat so this can make you itch too. go on for less time, moisturise well before and after and try the stand up booths instead!

Why does your body smell weird after you visit a tanning bed?

The reaction from your skin, just shower.

Why does your body smell weird after you visit a tanning bed?
you sin got hot and you become almost a crispy chicken.
Reply:the mixture of your lotion and your sweat
Reply:It's a mixture of your sweat, any lotion and the burned skin. The ultraviolet lights also can burn deeper layers of skin and your organs. Quit paying for skin cancer and get it at the beach like the rest of us.

Is it real true that a person can die from tanning there bodies for to long a one time?

Well, you can get skin cancer, and you can die of cancer so I guess it's possible

Is it real true that a person can die from tanning there bodies for to long a one time?
If the body can not cool or becomes dehydrated it is conceivable.
Reply:Tanning bed or too much sun can cause melanoma, which is the deadliest cancer there is. Even if you get the first one found removed and appear clear, you still must have xrays the rest of your life to be sure it doesn't return. Not something to mess with.

How warm outside does it need to be for natural tanning to have an effect?

As the first poster said, it depends on what the UV is at that day, and the amount of time you stay out. The temperature is just what you are able to stand. I remember when I was younger going outside in 65* weather and still tanning. And the longer you are out, the more of a tan you will get.

One time my mom actually got sun poisoning on a cloudy day. And another time, durring winter when it was unusually warm, around 50* she also got a tan. So temperature has nothing to do with it.

How warm outside does it need to be for natural tanning to have an effect?
its not so much about how warm. its more about the UV rays.
Reply:its not the temperature its how sunny it is and usually u need to have no clouds around for a good even tan

Nail Techs, does Tammy Taylor's Z coat yellow in tanning beds?

What can you use at home if you dont have tanning lotion someone said you can use butter has anyone tryed that

I wouldn't use butter. Try baby oil.

My friend said she used it and her face was all pimply!
Reply:no it suckds
Reply:I dont know about butter. I dont think i can stand the smell of butter. Some butters have salt mixed in it so i dont think its safe as well.

I would advise u to apply coconut oil and stand out in the sun from 30 mins to one hour. Depending on how much tan u want to get, increase the time accordingly.

Moreover coconut oil is affordable and does not harm your skin.

hope it helps.
Reply:Butter will only help if you do sun-tanning, which is INCREDIBLY bad for your skin----it is exactly like getting a gease-burn fromsomething you're cooking over a hot stove. I'd really recommend an artificial tanner.
Reply:don't use butter
Reply:Butter will cause you to burn, not tan. Think of how butter acts in a hot pan...your skin would be that hot pan AND the meat in it! That butter would literally cause the sun to cook you and that is very painful! Also, that won't give your skin that beautiful golden glow that you're after. Baby oil does the same thing. You need a self-tanning lotion that works alone AND with the sun.

Go to www.become.com and search for self tanning lotions. There are a variety of choices and prices for you to do some research. You really need to choose the best one for yourself. Take into consideration the way your skin reacts to the product and the color you're trying to become.

Good luck!
Reply:Butter? What the heck. Only if you're trying to cook yourself. Get a real tanning lotion.
Reply:I used to work at a tanning salon and trust me...DON'T use butter...or baby oil. It is best to get a real tanning lotion...they take better care of your skin. Butter and baby oil will just cook your skin and make you feel greasy. Also when you finish tanning and take a shower, get some sort of tan extending lotion (I love Total Immersion by California Tan) it leaves your skin soft and extends the life of your tan and helps you to tan better next time you tan too. Good luck and enjoy summer!!!

Will it hurt and iPod to use it in the tanning bed?

No its perfectly fine i do it all the time! just make sure you keep the screen face DOWN or it will mess up the screen and try to keep it away from direct heat, but it'll be fine.

get otter box, theyre about 50 bux, and that might protect it. they are schock %26amp; water proof

I know a lot of successful males that tan to this very day, its a great way to help look good!
Reply:I think it's weird for anyone to go, because you can tell if they have a real tan or a tanning bed tan. It's like smoking in that you are paying for cancer.
Reply:Yes it is weird. But who cares.

Oh and you cannot tell the difference between a tanning bed tan and a natural tan because i used to be a roofer and my gf tanned and we were asked a few times if we went tanning together.
Reply:I don't think so. It's just not very safe.

you shouldnt be risking your health for an orange color anyways. Sorry to say it but its true
