Ladies, would your husband or boyfriend allow you to use a tanning bed?

I don't think I would ever allow my girl to do that b/c it greatly increases the risk of skin cancer plus if she were to keep doing it, her skin would become 'leathery' when she got older.

Ladies, would your husband or boyfriend allow you to use a tanning bed?
Thank God there are smart men like you out there who care more about healthy skin than tanned skin. It's really too bad that so many women are willing to roast themselves in an attempt to look better.

Reply:Nobody has any restrictions on me, I'm an adult and I'll do what I want whenever I want, as long as I'm not harming anybody I won't take orders from anybody, especially a man. I don't use tanning beds anyways.

Reply:its her choice you can persuad her and try to convinve u cant just tell her what to and not to do. yes they are dangerous.
Reply:There is no "allowing" in my relationship. We are free to do as we choose as long as we respect ourselves and each other. So, if my boyfriend wanted to, that's his decision. It's his body, not mine.

Reply:My boyfriend doesn't let me go artificially tanning, and I don't mind because I know the harm and I know he cares for me.





But we both know I don't really need one because I'm naturally tanned.

On the other hand, he thinks it is a waste of money and is dangerous.

Reply:sry but i don't let no man tell me what i can or cannot do or what to wear or who to talk too. so, i don't think no man is going to tell me anything besides i don't need it brown enough and prooud of it.
Reply:I use it sparingly, It doesnt hurt to have a nice tan during summer. I have found that laying out to tan is much better for the skin then the UVs from tanning. My hubby would rather me lay out than use the tanning bed.
Reply:Free will, I'm not one who is big on tanning beds b/c of sun damage , but you want ever have a lady if your really that controlling.
Reply:Even if any guy allowed me to use a tanning bed, I still wouldn't want to. I make my own decisions...and if I wanted to get a tan, I would prefer to catch some rays the old-fashioned way...the sun.

Reply:Allow me??? Since when does another person who isn't my mother have the right to allow me or disallow me to do anything??? Advise, sure I understand, Request, maybe, ask politely with good reason, fine, but no matter the topic, you habe no right to be "allowing" her to do/not do anything.


Now that we got that clear, no, my husband would advise me, request of me, and ask me politlely NOT to use a tanning bed for those reasons you have mentioned above.
Reply:wow, i don't think i would ever be your girlfriend, cause nobody is allowed to tell me what to do, not even my parents, (even if they're paying for it), i do use tanning beds, i wouldn't go to the beach yuck, i hate the sun, and if i don't want to have "leathery" skin i would use creams!!!! just that simple, ha ha

Reply:I am a grown woman so there is no question about what my husband will ALLOW me to do. He is my husband, not a father to a child. I do go to tanning bed %26amp; have done so for about 20+ years. As a matter of fact, I went earlier today!!!
