Is it possible to get skin discoloration from self tanners or tanning beds?

I used both...not at the same time. One each summer. But I have some discoloration on my legs now. Its like tiny little freckle looking like things and in the same part of boths legs.

Is it possible to get skin discoloration from self tanners or tanning beds?
Its possible that it is caused from the tanners since UV rays can cause skin cancer. Its unlikely that it is cancer, very unlikely, but it would be a good idea to see a dermatologist. The only other cause of freckles is genetic, the sun, and tanning beds/booths.
